I've never been on a cruise but found one ship that really got my attention, the Royal Clipper. That ship and others just like it are on the 'to do' list.
I'm a member of national Trust & English heritage wherever you may be both organisations offer lots of places for very nice walks, cafés and history if that's your thing... Lots of choice! 😊
I do enjoy leisurely walks whether coast or countryside.
I don't have any pets now but I love animals.
BTW, in my answer to the question about showing affection in public.. Please think holding hands while walking together rather than some extremes seen on a Saturday night at Bigg Market!!
