About him
Hello, I’m Tom – 54, divorced, and ready to embrace the next chapter with curiosity, humour and an open mind. When I last dipped my toe into this sort of thing, people were still posting ads in newspapers. My glass was full, then empty, and now half full, but it's quickly filling up again.
For now, I’m hoping for genuine companionship, shared experiences, and an authentic connection with someone who is independent, has lived, laughed, fallen and picked themselves up again, is genuine and kind. And if there’s chemistry involved, then the adventure becomes even more exciting.
I’ve led an interesting life. Sport has always been part of my life, but these days I’ve settled into something more sedate - lawn bowls (go on, laugh – my kids do). I am passionate about cricket, enjoy gardening, all kinds of music (though my taste seems to have buffered in the late noughties), and I’ll never turn down an evening with friends, a good stand-up gig, film, quiz, museum or gallery.
I've travelled a bit, but mainly to places that had water parks and chips and chicken dippers. Now, I want to go to the places I've always wanted to see - a steam train through the Highlands, a weekend in Cornwall, the Lake District, Rome or Corfu, India, and Japan.
