Friends tell me that I look younger than my actual age. Since the prolonged illness and death of my wife (we were married for 50 years), I am trying to take care of myself by doing Pilates every day and am now attending a Tai Chi class. I write a 1000 word blog every day and listen a lot to ClassicFM. As a moderately good but self-taught Spanish speaker, I have enjoyed travelling round most parts of Spain and have very good friends (former students) both in Madrid and also in La Coruna in the North of Spain. I have lived in Bromsgrove for 18 years but before that I worked in universities in Hampshire (10 years) and in Leicestershire (26 years) although I originally hail from Yorkshire. I enjoy gardening (when I have the time), cooking and good conversation
